The Illinois Community College System covers the entire state with 48 colleges and one multi-community college center in 39 community college districts. Community colleges serve nearly one million Illinois residents each year in credit and noncredit courses and many more through their public service programs Community colleges in Illinois are administered by the
Illinois Community College Board (ICCB).
Students who have opted in to the One Click College Admit program will receive admission offers during the fall of their senior year (Fall 2026) to the partner public universities and community college for which they are eligible for One Click College Admit admission for enrollment in Fall 2027.
